MY MISSION

Cuttlefish are a species of mollusk who are unbelievably intelligent but unfortuately very short lived.   Many people are fasicnated with cuttlefish, and therefore they are harvested more and more from they ocean.  A very high percentage of cuttlefish ordered into aquarium storesn for aquarium hobbyists like myself do not survive the journey.   If I can sucessfully start to breed my cuttles in captivity, perhaps I can decrease the numbers of cuttlefish that are basically murdered all the time by being harvested to become pets in our tanks.  Nevermind those that are sacrificed for their bones which are found on most budgie cages.
Please help my in my search for infomation about breeding cuttlefish.
I have overcome my initial challenge of keeping them alive right after hatching ( they require LARGE amounts of live food and will not accept anything dead as a substitute)  Now I am trying to build up my population enough to start them breeding.
Please contact me through this site if you have any information or are interested in becoming a part of my project
